NRA Basic Pistol Class.
Our Basic Pistol course exceeds Colorado State training requirements for a concealed carry permit.  The class includes live instruction from NRA certified instructors, video and power point presentations, detailed information on the legal aspects of self-defense, coffee and doughnuts, lunch, and hands on experience with firearms, including live firing at an indoor range.  This class is valued at $150.00, but is on sale through February 2009 for only $110.00.  Space is limited, so take advantage of this great offer today.

Course Goals
To teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe and proper use of handguns, and to provide information on the U.S. citizen's right to self-defense.

Course Lessons
-Pistol knowledge and safe gun handling

-Ammunition knowledge

-Stance, grip and breathing

-Skills relating to controlling the handgun while shooting

-How to clean and care for guns

-Sight alignment and trigger control

General Course Information

Total Course Cost: $110

A $40 dollar non-refundable deposit is required to reserve class for each student. Deposit must be received at least 3 days prior to class date.
Day of class walk-up registration (subject to space availability) is $140.
Space is limited.

The class is approximately 8-10 hours in length.

Coffee, doughnuts and lunch will be provided.

Course includes comprehensive information on self-defense, the law and the possible consequences.

Owning a handgun is NOT a requirement for taking the class. Various revolvers and semi-automatics will be available for you to examine. You may bring a handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition for the range, but neither will be allowed in the classroom.  If you don't own a handgun, we will provide a 22 caliber handgun and ammunition, for an additional charge of $15.00.

Policies

-We reserve the right to refuse services, to anyone, for any reason.

-Course dates/locations may be changed/postponed, due to enrollment, weather conditions, and/or other events beyond our control.

-Students wishing to cancel out of a course will forfeit the $40.00 deposit.

-Students who are not in attendance on the course date will forfeit the $40.00 deposit.

-Returned checks will be subject to an additional service charge.

-There is a rental fee of $15.00 for use of our firearms and ammunition.

*Deposit AND/OR application must be received at least 3 days prior to class. Please allow appropriate time for your application to be received in the mail. If you make a deposit or full payment online, then you may bring your application with you on the day of class.  Classes are subject to space availability.
